Experience and Qualifications

We are not your average teachers! We specialize in movement and the arts, which makes learning fun and engaging. Beyond the classroom, we have young kids of our own. We love continuing education and staying current in our methods. We are learners just as much as we are teachers!

Ms. Monica

Teacher

Hi there I’m Ms. Monica!!! I knew from an early age that I loved helping people. In all my jobs my whole life it has involved helping people of all ages. I started at Sprouts 2 years ago doing science. I love how excited the kids get over our science projects. This last year I had my own class and enjoyed all of it! I love watching the growth of the children through the year and just having fun and singing and dancing with kids. My family includes a 7 year old daughter and a 2 year old son and my husband. In my time off I just live exploring the Pacific Northwest with my family!

Ms. Steph

Teacher

Hello! My name is Steph Cowart and I am excited to have such a fun year with your kiddos. I have a Masters degree in Educational Technology, and I taught Hugh school for 8 years before staying home to raise our own 2 kids. Now that they’re both back in school, I found a passion for the younger age classes and am so excited to be able to be back in the classroom. I love doing anything art related, have recently started gardening and am a sucker for a home improvement project!

Ms. Cassie

Teacher

Hello, I am Ms. Cassie! I am super excited to be working with preschoolers. One of my favorite quotes is, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” by William Butler Yeats. Every child holds a match and I love helping them light their own fire! I graduated with a bachelors in Early Childhood Special Education. I have taught young children while student teaching, in church primary classes, and ran my own in-home preschool for 2 years. Some of my most favorite and memorable lessons include hands-on and real-world learning. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy running, gardening, and hanging out with my 3 children and husband.
